Ladies First Signs Exclusive Partnership Deal with Spotify

The Ladies First team has raised the bar again. Our podcast, GIRL CODE, recently signed an exclusive deal with Spotify - making them part of Spotify’s Creator Accelerator Program.

Spotify’s Creator Accelerator Program is an initiative to amplify new and underrepresented voices, especially females of colour. Initially the programme was limited to 10 spots in the United States, but due to the overwhelming response it expanded internationally, allowing our Ladies First team to secure their place in the program.

The program acts as an inclusive space for creators all around the world, members now ranging from females and non-binary podcasters of colour to the LGBTQIA+ community. The goals of this program parallel the ideals of Ladies First, to create an inclusive environment for people from all walks of life.

In the once a week, half an hour podcast, Tasha and Jasmine discuss topics such as love, relationships and mental health, and how to navigate through life. Being candid and relatable are important for successful podcasts, and Tasha and Jasmine are the perfect example of just that. By sharing their unfiltered thoughts, they’ve built a strong rapport with the GIRL CODE audience.

Each week, a guest host comes on the show to share their story or opinion on the weekly topic. Most recently, our video production manager, Hakim, joined the girls to bravely share about his loss of a loved one. Before that, another of our talents, Abbey, shared about her unconventional career in the music industry.
