Objective:

Increase awareness and sales for Je l'aime's AMINO line which contains 18 types of amino acids to help repair damaged hair.

Products include:

- Je l'aime Amino Damage Repair

- Shampoo/Treatment (2 types)

- Je l'aime Amino Deep Repair Algae Mask

 

Strategy:

Since these products are specially catered for damaged hair, we got 2 of our hosts with damaged hair, Amander and Sierra to do a hair care routine swap for a week on our female channel Ladies First, to prove the products' ability to improve hair conditions,. Sierra used Je l'aime products and Amander used Brand X that's easily available in drugstores. Both hosts vlogged their experience throughout so we could monitor the progress. At the end of the challenge, Sierra will show the improvement in her hair condition. Both hosts also shared their honest thoughts on the challenge (authentic review).

A giveaway was also hosted on our Ladies First's Instagram page to increase the engagement.

 

Results:

Video garnered over 800,000 views, over 11,000 likes and 1,000 comments.

CEZANNE

Objective:

Increase awareness and sales for Cezanne Cosmetics' hero product - the Make Keep Base (Comes in Blue & Pink)

 

Strategy:

Both Blue & Pink variations have different properities to suit different skin conditions and makeup, but one common property between both is that it's a primer that helps your makeup last longer. With that in mind, we conceptualized a "American vs Asian Makeup" challenge on Ladies First with 2 of our beauty influencers, Jasmine and Cheryl, both of which have very differing makeup styles. We put it to the test by getting the hosts to go out for a meal in a humid coffee shop to test the wearability and ability of keeping the makeup on. A giveaway was also held on our Instagram page to boost the engagement.

 

Results:

Video has garnered over 100,000 views, 3300 likes and 400 comments.
